The system looks very easy to use and even provides a map on the invoice to show customers where they purchased the goods. How Square Works
Square’s payment system is designed to be user-friendly and accessible to a wide range of businesses, from small vendors to larger enterprises. The system includes a small, portable card reader that plugs into the audio jack of your iPhone or other mobile devices. This card reader can read magnetic stripe cards, and newer versions also support chip cards and contactless payments like Apple Pay and Google Wallet.
Once the card is swiped or tapped, the transaction is processed through the Square app, which is available for both iOS and Android devices. The app allows you to enter the transaction amount, add a description, and even apply discounts or sales tax. After the transaction is completed, the customer can sign on the screen of the device, and an electronic receipt is sent to their email or phone.
