Skype Qik was launched by Microsoft back in October 2014 as a quick way to share video snippets, this week the company has rolled out a handful of new features that enable users to add captions, music and message photos.
In an attempt to compete with the likes of Snapchat, Skype Qik now enables users to easily add a caption to their video by simply selecting the new ‘Add Caption’ button provided in the latest update.
Microsoft has also added the ability to add music to videos as well as support for photographs allowing users to use the application and as a photo messaging service as well as a video messenger when desired.
Version 1.9.0 of Skype Qik is now available to download from the Apple iOS App Store for free via the link below.
