It looks like the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is a big hit for Samsung, the company has launched the handset globally today.
We heard earlier that Samsung had impressive pre-orders of the handset in the US and now it looks like the handset is even more popular in Samsung’s home country of South Korea.
Samsung started taking pre-orders of their new Note 8 smartphone on the 7th of September and the company has now taken over 800,000 pre-orders of the handset in its home country.
This is double the previous model which had 380,000 pre-orders in 13 days, so it looks like the handset is a big hit for Samsung.
Samsung has problems with their Galaxy Note 7 last year, the handset had to be recalled and then cancelled. It looks like this did not cause any problems for the new Galaxy Note 8, as pre-orders are double of last years model so far.
