Not too long ago, a mysterious Samsung handset SM-G900S was spotted on GFXBench, which was rumored to be the premium version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 or possibly the F-series we’ve seen before. Earlier today, another report mentions that a device carrying a similar handset, with a model number SM-G900F, has been shipped to India on December 2nd for research and development purposes from Korea.
Previously, we heard rumor that Samsung will launch two versions of Samsung Galaxy S5: one with a faux leather or plastic form factor while the other one will feature premium metallic body, which could be the Galaxy F series. We’re not saying here that it’s Galaxy S5, what we’re trying to say is that there’s a high probability that it is.
Here’s what we know so far: the purported Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumored to come with a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, 4GB RAM, 64-bit processor or possibly the Snapdragon 805 chipset, a 16MP ISOCELL camera (unfortunately without optical image stabilization) with Android 4.4 pre-installed out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy S5 is still months away, and during that time period, we’ll see a bunch of leaks, some confirming what we already know while other picturing a totally different view that may or may not shatter our perception about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5.
It’s just a speculation and we leave it up to you to decide. Do you think SM-G900 could be the next Galaxy S5?
