Earlier today, we shared with you what we know about the purported Samsung Galaxy S5, including its rumored specifications as well as the possible launch date. Most of the rumors mention the official launch to take place in February, probably before the Mobile World Congress 2014 kicks off. However, it may not be true if Eldar Murtazin is to be believed. According to Mr. Murtazin, the launch of the highly rumored Samsung Galaxy S5 will not take place in Q1 next year, instead it will be launched in late-April 2014.
Additionally, do you still remember the rumor about the ultra high-end F series smartphone from Samsung that surfaced back in September? Well, Eldar Murtazin mentions that it does exist and is currently in development stages, but the chances of its launch early next year are pretty slim because Samsung hasn’t shown the device to carriers yet.
Let me just remind you to take this rumor with a pinch of salt. Eldar Murtazin could be correct, but he’s not always accurate. We’re pretty sure these rumors will not stop here, there are still a few months left before the Korean OEM officially unveils the Samsung Galaxy S5, and until that happens, the rumor mill will continue its work and leak more information in the coming weeks.
What do you think? Will we see the Samsung Galaxy S5 in Q1 or is Mr. Murtazin correct? Share your thoughts.
