Samsung has revealed that sales of its Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in its home country of South Korea have reached 1 million. The handset first went on sale in South Korea on the 21st of September.
The handset has been popular for Samsung and the company appears to have received well form the recall of their previous Galaxy Note 7 handset. The note 8 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 6GB of RAM.
The handset comes with a choice of storage options which include 64GB, 128GB and 256GB, it comes with a 6.3 inch Super AMOLED display 6.3 inch Super AMOLED display with a Quad HD+ resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels
Other specifications on the Note 8 include a 3300 mAh battery and a microSD card slot which can take up to a 256GB card. The handset comes with dual 12 megapixel cameras on the back and a front facing 8 megapixel camera for Selfies and video calls.
