The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime is expected to be launched next month, earlier in the week we heard that the new high end Galaxy S5 will retail for around £650 in the UK without a contract.
Now we have some more details on the Galaxy S5 Prime, the handset will launch in five colors, which will include black, white, gold, blue and pink.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime will get a number of upgrades over the existing S5, the device will feature a 5.1 inch QHD display that will have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The processor on the S5 Prime will also be updated, and the device is said to feature a quad core 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM.
The S5 Prime will also come with 32GB of built in storage, the device will feature a microSD card slot that supports uo to 128GB cards, and there is also front and rear facing cameras.
On the front of the handset there will be the same 2.1 megapixel camera as the S5, on the back a 16 megapixel camera, and it will come with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and Android 4.4 Kit Kat.
One thing we have yet to heard about the new S5 Prime, is whether the exterior of the device will get updated, the Galaxy S5 comes with a plastic casing, lets hope Samsung chooses some high end materials for their Galaxy S5 Prime.
As well as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, we are also expecting Samsung to launch the new Galaxy S5 Mini in June, there is also a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active on the way, although as yet we are not sure if this handset will launch next month.
As soon as we get some more details on the new Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, including confirmation on the handsets specifications, and some actual pictures on the device, we will let you guys know.
