The other day we heard that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime would launch in limited quantities, and now we have received some information on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime release date.
According to our source, who is someone close to a major UK retailer, Samsung plans to release the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime in June.
From what we have heard, Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S5 Prime around the end of June, and it could possibly launch in either the third or last week in June, we were told that this could possibly change.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime is rumored to come with a 5.1 inch QHD Super AMOLED display that will feature a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The handset is also rumored to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 805 mobile processor, which is a quad core processor that will feature a clock speed of 2.4GHz.
Other rumored specifications on the Galaxy S5 Prime include 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage,the handset will also feature a microSD card slot for expansion.
The Galaxy S5 Prime is said to feature the same cameras as the Galaxy S5, there will be a 2 megapixel camera on the front andf a 16 megapixel camera on the back.
The device will come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat and Samsung TouchWiz UI, and it will apparently be available in limited quantities at launch, and will feature a higher price than the Galaxy S5.
