Rimac have shown off what could be the world’s fastest electric hypercar at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the Rimac C_Two.
The Rimac C_Two comes with some insane figures, the car has a massive 1914 horsepower and a massive 2,300 Nm of torque. It comes with a total of 4 electric motors.
The car will do 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 1.85 seconds and it will feature an electronically limited top speed of 258 miles per hour. We wonder how fast it will go without the limiter.
Advanced Engineering and Design
The Rimac C_Two comes with a carbon fibre chassis, which not only provides incredible strength but also helps in reducing the overall weight of the vehicle. The batteries have been seamlessly integrated into the chassis, ensuring optimal weight distribution and structural integrity. The car weighs in at 1,950kg, which is quite impressive given the amount of technology and power packed into it.
The C_Two is not just about raw power; it is also a marvel of modern engineering. The car features advanced aerodynamics, including active aero elements that adjust in real-time to optimize downforce and reduce drag. This ensures that the car remains stable and efficient at high speeds.
Technology and Features
The Rimac C_Two is packed with cutting-edge technology. It features a fully autonomous driving system, which includes a suite of sensors such as LiDAR, radar, and ultrasonic sensors. This allows the car to navigate complex environments and traffic situations with ease. The car also comes with a state-of-the-art infotainment system, which includes a large touchscreen display, advanced navigation, and connectivity features.
One of the standout features of the C_Two is its ability to learn and adapt to the driver’s behavior. The car uses artificial intelligence to analyze driving patterns and make adjustments to optimize performance and efficiency. This makes the C_Two not just a high-performance vehicle, but also a smart one.
The company intends to make around 150 units of the car, making it a highly exclusive vehicle. Each unit will be custom-built to the buyer’s specifications, ensuring that no two cars are exactly alike. Have a look at the video below to see the Rimac C_Two in action.
As yet there are no details on how much this new electric hypercar will cost, although we suspect it could end up being expensive. Given the level of technology and performance on offer, it is likely that the C_Two will come with a hefty price tag. However, for those who can afford it, the Rimac C_Two promises to be one of the most exciting and advanced hypercars on the market.
