Makers or developers that are looking for a handheld controller to be part of their latest project or something they may be building in the future, might be interested in a new DIY handheld controller kit called the QLite.
The QLite DIY handheld controller has been created by Quantum Robotics and has been designed to provide hobbyists, makers and developers with a customisable platform for controlling their creations.

The QLite offers owners a customisable case design with inputs and options that enable it to be configured in number of ways depending on your final requirements.

QLite also allows you to easily change or upgrade the controller as your project grows and develops over time. Its creators explain:
“The QLite allows you to install your choice of MCU/development boards into the controller. This also allows the choice to make it tethered, Wifi, Bluetooth, XBee, or some of the many other wireless options available.
It does come with board mounting patterns for Arduino UNO, Arduino Mega, and Parallax like products. But, since it’s made from acrylic it’s easy to add any board mounting pattern by simply drilling the holes needed with a Dremel/Drill.”
The QLite DIY controller project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. So if you think QLite DIY controller is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help QLite DIY controller become a reality.
