Phillips has this week unveiled their third version of its GoGear Muse portable media player which now comes equipped with SoundSafe technology. The new GoGear Muse 3 sports smoother lines than the previous version with rounded corners and a 3.2 touchscreen.
This new version of the GoGear Muse now also includes a new equalizer called the SoundPersonalisation, which allows you to adjust the sound of audio by simply moving your finger around the screen of the device with each corner representing a sound enhancement: Powerful, Sparkling, Vocal and Warm.
The included Phillips SoundSafe technology has been created to analyses the level of sound you are playing, and warn you if the volume could damage your long term hearing. Once warned you can either adjust the volume yourself or set the GoGear Muse 3 to manage the volume control automatically. The SoundSafe feature within the GoGear Muse will also provide you with daily and weekly reports of your sound exposure allowing you to protect your hearing for use in later life.
The new GoGear Muse 3 comes supplied with noise isolation in-ear headphones, is fitted with an internal speaker and is available in two storage capacities of 8GB for £110 and 16GB for around £140.
