At Computex 2019 this week Corsair has launched a new initiative called Hydro X which has been designed to make water cooling your PC even easier. By automating loop calculations, measurements and component lists to take the guess work out of DIY water cooling.
Simply enter your PC specifications in the Corsair’s Hydro X custom cooling configurator in the system will calculate the measurements of pipes and show you exactly what you need to buy to provide yourself with the best water cooling solution possible for your budget. The water cooling configuration system currently supports 85% of Corsair cases together with a wealth of third-party PC cases available as well. “Start by typing your case brand and options will appear below. Alternatively, enter a specific case model. If your case is not found in our database choose between generic sizes by typing in “generic“.”
Followed by your motherboard, CPU and graphics card the Corsair’s Hydro X custom cooling configurator will then provide you with any recommended solution complete with the water blocks required depending on your preferred cooling :
STAGE 1 – Minimal viable radiator configuration to keep your component temperatures under control. Expect quiet operation during idle and low intensity tasks. Due to limited radiator surface area, fans will run faster at full load but still support maximum CPU and GPU boost clocks during extensive gaming sessions.
STAGE 2 – Recommended radiator configuration to efficiently and quietly cool your components. Expect quiet operation during idle and low intensity tasks. This configuration assures superior performance while gaming without compromising noise levels.
