Yesterday Pantech announced their latest smartphone, the Pantech Vega Iron 2, and now according to a recent report, the company is apparently working on a new Phablet, which is rumored to be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor.
According to a number of reports in the Korean media, Pantech is working on a new Phablet device that will come with a 6 inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
This new Pantech Phablet will be one of the first devices to use the new Snapdragon 810 processor, this is a new 8 core processor that comes with a quad core ARM A57 up to 2GHz and quad A53 cores with 64-bit support.
The device will also apparently come with the next major release of Google’s Android OS, which may be Android 4.5 or Android 5.0, and it is also said to come with a stylus.
As yet we do not have a release date for this new Pantech Phablet, although we suspect that we will have to wait later in the year to see some photos of the device and get some more details.
