Those of you that have been patiently waiting for the Overwatch open beta gameplay development stage to be started by Blizzard Entertainment, will be pleased to know that it is now available to enter and will continue to run until May 9th, 2016.
The Overwatch open beta gameplay is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and offers 21 unique heroes to choose from as well as 12 “diverse and futuristic” maps to test them out in. Check out the Overwatch trailer below to whet your appetite.

The Overwatch Open Beta is here! Prepare to clash on the battlefields of tomorrow and take your place in the ranks of Overwatch — a legendary force of soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and oddities. Assemble your friends and try out the ultimate team-based shooter for FREE during the Open Beta May 5–9th.
Overwatch is now available to preorder and will be officially launching later this month on May 24th, 2016 and will be available to play on both next-generation consoles and PC once it officially launches.
