Origin PC has unveiled a new extreme gaming laptop called the EON17-SLX. The gaming laptop can be fitted with up to two Nvidia GTX 780M GPUs. The machine can also be fitted with a number of Intel Core i7 processors all the way up to the Extreme Core i7 4930MX quad-core 3.0 GHz processor. The notebook computer can also be fitted with up to 32 GB of RAM.
The notebook is available with Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 operating systems. The machine can be fitted with several optical drives including a Blu-ray drive or an optional optical drive bay hard drive solution to expand storage capacity. The machine can have up to five storage drives inside and can be configured in RAID for data security and redundancy.
Storage options include up to 480 GB mSATA drives or up to 1 TB standard hard drives. SSDs are also available with up to 1 TB of storage capacity. Other features for the notebook computer include a number of connectivity options, a memory card reader, and integrated fingerprint reader, a one-megapixel web camera and a five-megapixel front camera. The computer starts at $1926. Fully optioned versions with dual graphics cards and lots of storage will cost significantly more.
