Looking at the following photo kind of makes me wonder why Apple hasn’t included a built-in iPod / iPhone dock in their latest range of iMacs.
The Onkyo Sotec Media PC will come with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 500GB hard drive, as well as a built-in 4x Blu-ray drive.
Display and Multimedia Features
Other specifications include a 21.5-inch LCD display, with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080, which is perfect for high-definition content. The built-in dual TV tuner allows users to watch and record two different TV channels simultaneously, making it a versatile choice for media enthusiasts. Additionally, the 1.3-megapixel camera is ideal for video conferencing and casual photography. The inclusion of a wireless keyboard and mouse, plus a wireless remote, ensures that users can control their media experience from the comfort of their couch.
Performance and Connectivity
The Intel Core 2 Duo processor, combined with 2GB of RAM, ensures that the Onkyo Sotec Media PC can handle everyday tasks with ease. Whether you’re streaming movies, browsing the web, or working on documents, this PC is designed to provide a smooth and responsive experience. The 500GB hard drive offers ample storage for all your media files, applications, and documents.
Connectivity options are also well-covered. The built-in Blu-ray drive not only allows you to watch high-definition movies but also to burn data onto Blu-ray discs, which is a great feature for backing up important files. The wireless capabilities of the keyboard, mouse, and remote make it easy to set up and use the PC without the clutter of cables.
The Onkyo Sotec Media PC will be available shortly in Japan for $1,900. There is no word on when we will see it in the US and Europe, but given its impressive feature set, it is likely to attract attention from media PC enthusiasts worldwide.
