To help create a more physical and emotional connection to music photos and objects Leo and Moro, a small London-based product design studio has created a new NFC tap to play music and media player. Available from £69 the Leo and Moro media player has been launched via Kickstarter and comes complete with everything you need to make your very own NFC media library. Once setup simply place the required media card onto the device and the audio will start playing automatically. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the NFC cards, stickers and media player.
“Leo is a NFC-enabled music/media player, just tap in the card on Leo to play a song or a full album. You can customize the cards with an artist or album art or with a custom design. Leo can stream directly from Spotify, Soundcloud.com, YouTube, web radios, or it can play your local mp3s/videos/photos files.”
As well as the NFC cards, stickers and hardware the team has also created an easy to use app that allows you to create mix cards of your favourite music, audio media and photos. “Most of the software has been developed and tested, but there may be slight changes made to the finished product that will be shipped out to you. “
If the Kickstarter campaign successful worldwide shipping will start sometime around July 2019. For more details jump over to the official crowdfunding campaign page via the link below.
