Exciting New Devices
Apple’s new iPhone 8 will also be accompanied by some other new devices at the event. These will include a new iPhone 7S and 7S Plus, a new 4K Apple TV, and possibly the LTE Apple Watch. The iPhone 8 is expected to feature a new design with an edge-to-edge display, facial recognition technology, and wireless charging capabilities. The iPhone 7S and 7S Plus are anticipated to be incremental upgrades over their predecessors, featuring improved processors and camera systems.
The new 4K Apple TV is expected to support high dynamic range (HDR) content, providing a more vibrant and lifelike viewing experience. This upgrade will be significant for users who have invested in 4K televisions and are looking to maximize their viewing experience with Apple’s ecosystem. The LTE Apple Watch, on the other hand, is rumored to offer standalone cellular connectivity, allowing users to make calls, send texts, and stream music without needing to be tethered to an iPhone.
Steve Jobs Theater and Apple’s Vision
The Steve Jobs Theater is a testament to Apple’s commitment to innovation and design excellence. Named after the company’s co-founder, the theater is a state-of-the-art facility designed to host Apple’s most important product launches and events. The theater features a 1,000-seat auditorium, a stunning glass-walled lobby, and a retractable roof. It is located on the new Apple Park campus, which spans 175 acres and is designed to be one of the most energy-efficient buildings in the world.
The Apple Park campus itself is a marvel of modern architecture and sustainability. It features a massive ring-shaped building that houses over 12,000 employees, a 30-acre park with walking and running paths, and an orchard, meadow, and pond within the inner courtyard. The campus is powered by 100% renewable energy, including a 17-megawatt rooftop solar installation.
Apple’s press event takes place next Tuesday, the 12th of September at 10.am PDT. You can find out more details about the event over at Apple.
