The Sony PS Vita portable game console hasn’t sold in droves since it launched. The portable does have a number of fans out there though and if you are one of them, some new apps are coming your way. Sony has announced that three new apps for the PS Vita are available today. The new apps include Crunchyroll, NHL GameCenter Live, and Qello Concerts.
Crunchyroll is an app for anime from Japan that will gives users access to content like Naruto Shippuden, Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill, Hunter × Hunter and others. Some of the series will have new episodes on the app only hours after they air in Japan. NHL GameCenter Live will let users watch out of market hockey games with a subscription. Qello Concerts gives users full-length concerts and other content to watch.
Later this spring other new apps are coming to the portable device. The other new apps will include Gaiam TV for fitness content. Hulu Plus will finally hit the PS Vita, and requires a subscription. Redbox Instant by Verizon is another streaming video offering that requires a subscription. No exact launch date has been offered for the last three apps.
