After officially unveiling the new Apple iPad 10.2 inch tablet during the Apple Special Event held in the Steve Jobs theatre, Apple has now made available specifications for the Apple iPad 2019 which is priced from $329. Equipped with a 10.2-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit Multi-Touch display with IPS technology the new Apple iPad offers users a resolution of 2160 x 1620 pixels at 264 pixels per inch (ppi), 500 nits brightness And is finished with a fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating and supports the first generation of Apple Pencil.
Features of the Apple iPad 10.2 include Touch ID, Three‐axis gyro, Accelerometer, Barometer and Ambient light sensor as well as support for Apple Pay and a Built‐in 32.4‐watt‐hour rechargeable lithium‑polymer battery offering up to 10 hours of use on a single charge. Most importantly the new Apple iOS has been designed for use with the new Apple iPadOS which will be made available later this month.
Internally Apple have equipped the latest iPad with a A10 Fusion chip with 64‑bit architecture Embedded M10 coprocessor and 8 megapixel camera with ƒ/2.4 aperture, capable of capturing 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps, Slo‑mo video support for 720p at 120 fps, Time-lapse video with stabilisation, Video image stabilisation, Body and face detection, 3x video zoom and video geotagging. Ffeatures of the camera include : Five-element lens, Hybrid IR filter, Backside illumination, Live Photos, Autofocus, Panorama (up to 43 megapixels),HDR for photos, Exposure control, Burst mode, Tap to focus, Timer mode, Auto image stabilisation, Body and face detection and Photo geotagging.
The FaceTime camera on the new Apple iPad is 1.2-megapixel offering an ƒ/2.2 aperture with Retina Flash and backside illumination capable of capturing 720p HD video recording and HDR for photos and videos. All new 2019 iPad models support wireless connectivity via Wi‑Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac); dual band (2.4GHz and 5GHz); HT80 with MIMO
Bluetooth 4.2 technology. While cellular connectivity offers UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz) and Gigabit-class LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 29, 30, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 66, 71). The new seventh-generation iPad comes in silver, space gray and gold finishes in 32GB and 128GB configurations. iPad starts at $329 (US) for the Wi-Fi model and $459 (US) for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model from apple.com, in the Apple Store app and Apple Stores, and is also available through Apple Authorized Resellers and select carriers (prices may vary).
