NEC has launched a new Android tablet in Japan, the NEC LifeTouch tablet, which features a 7 inch WVGA display, plus an ARM Cortex A8 processor, and comes with Google Android 2.1.
Other specifications on the NEC LifeTouch include 384MB of RAM and 1GB of ROM, there is also a three megapixel camera, plus integrated 802.11 b/g WiFi plus Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR.
The NEC LifeTouch also features an SDHC card slot, a couple of USB ports, GPS, an accelerometer, and a digital compass, plus a built in microphone. It will go on sale in Japan later this month.
There are no details on pricing as yet, and no details on when it will be available in the US and Europe.
