MSi has this week added a new addition to their range of gaming notebooks, in the form of the newly launched MSi GS30 Shadow system. That MSi has designed to provide the power of a desktop but the portability of a laptop when required.
The new MSi GS30 Shadow is powered by a choice of Intel 4th Gen Core i7 processor that can be supported by up to 16GB of DDR3L 1600MHz graphics with Intel Iris Pro graphics.
The MSi gaming laptop is fitted with a 13.3 inch LED Backlight Display providing up to a resolution of 2560 x 1440, while also offering a wild view angle and anti-glare technology. The system comes supplied running Microsoft’s latest Windows 8.1 operating system and includes Bluetooth 4.0, Giga LAN and Intel 802.11ac wireless connectivity.
MSi explains a little more about the unique docking system which has been created to provide extra processing power and graphics to the MSi GS30 laptop whilst at your desk :
“There is a specific GamingDock designed for GS30 Shadow and the overall graphics performance will be shifted to a higher level while GS30 Shadow is docking on it. By the inserted desktop discrete graphics card inside the GamingDock, more graphics calculation will be enhanced and more visual detailed will be revealed.
