The last thing we heard about the new Apple HomePod is that the device is expected to launch some time soon. We are expecting Apple to launch their new Siri powered speaker some time next month and now we have some more details about the device.
Some new details about the Apple HomePod were discovered by Filipe Esposito when he discovered an image in Apple’s Home app that reveals more information about the device.
You will apparently be able to create custom scenes that will allow you to mute the Hey Siri function on the device. This could be useful for things like parties and more. There is also apparently details about multiple users on the device.
We recently heard that Apples suppliers had started to ship their first HomePods to Apple with the first shipment apparently carrying one million units of the device. Apple is expecting their new Siri enabled speaker to be popular, although the company has some work to do it it wants to catch up with Amazon and their Alexa devices.
As soon s we get some details on the exact launch date of Apple’s new HomePod Siri speaker, we will let you guys know. The device should go on sale some time in early February.
