Monotype and Google have today announced a new partnership that has integrated the free public version of its Typecast Design Tool with the Google Fonts’ website, to aid designers in making choice when consider font choices for website designs and layouts.
The new Monotype Typecast App Google Font features allows designers to test and try out Google fonts on a website using their new web based application.
Check out the new Monotype Typecast web based application here and put it through its paces. A Monotype premium version of the Typecast application is also available and starts at $29 per month. Chris Roberts, vice president and general manager of Monotype’s e-commerce group.

Google users can upgrade at any time to the Premium Monotype Typecast service and have instant access to the thousands of other typefaces available via the service including fonts from the like of Fonts.com Web Fonts, Typekit, Webtype and Fontdeck to name a few.
