In addition to the new Surface Headphones and Surface Laptop 2, Microsoft has also unveiled its new Surface Studio 2 touchscreen workstation which will start shipping next month on November 15th, 2018 with systems priced from $3,499. Equipped with an Intel Core i7-7820HQ processors, SSD storage with options for both NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or GTX 1070 graphics supported by 16GB or 32GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB and 2TB solid state drive options. Microsoft has created the new workstation “for faster file handling, and more graphics memory to handle your workflow and support better gaming, mixed reality, and VR”.
At the features of the touchscreen workstation include four USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, and a handy SDXC card reader together with connectivity via Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. As well as supporting Xbox Wireless technology and offering Windows Hello face recognition thanks and included five megapixel front facing camera which is supported by Dolby audio and a 2.1 channel stereo speakers system.
