If you missed out on the original Kickstarter campaign for the MetaWear C tiny programmable BLE sensors. MbientLab has now relaunched the company’s campaign once again on the Kickstarter crowdfunding website.
Allowing those that first pledged for the original device to have a second chance at being able to get their hands on the highly integrated Bluetooth sensor module, that runs using power from a small coin cell battery.

With an estimated shipping date sometime during November of this year. Its creators explain a little more about the features and functionalities of the tiny button sized Bluetooth sensor.
MetaWear C is a tiny, coin-cell powered, Bluetooth Low Energy Sensor Platform with an SDK.Our complete low-power solution is designed to develop wearable and sensor tech solutions. This module packs a robust set of features into its tiny size that are ideal for “always-on” applications such as social media, sports, and fitness activities.
MetaWear C works for a broad range of form factors such as rings, bags, bracelets, pendants, e-textiles, even Nerf footballs! Our module runs for extended periods from a coin-cell battery and features motion sensors (gyroscope and accelerometer), a Bluetooth radio, and an LED.
