We previous heard that the new LG G Flex 2 would be coming next year, although now LG has confirmed that the handset will launch in the second half of 2014.
Yesterday LG announced the LG G3 at an international press event, they also held a second press event in South Korea, and the company confirmed some information about the release date of the LG G Flex 2.
LG announced that they would launch two new smartphones in the second half of 2014, the LG G Flex and the LG Vu 4, although they did not give any specific dates one when these new devices would be available.
As yet we do not have many details on the specifications of the new LG G Flex 2, what we know is that the handset will come with a flexible display like the original G Flex.
The LG G Flex featured a 6 inch curved OLED display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, we are expecting the LG G Flex 2 to feature at least a full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, although you never know it could end up with a QHD display like the LG G3.
As yet there are no details on what processor the handset will get, we suspect it will come with one of the latest Snapdragon processors, possibly the 801 or 805, both of which are quad core processors.
The original LG G Flex feature 2GB of RAM, so we are expecting the second generation G Flex to feature at least 2GB of RAM, possibly 3GB. As soon as we get some more information on the device, including some actual photos, we will let you guys know.
