Anyone that has been patiently waiting for Lenovo to launch their first Chromebox computer, will be pleased to know that the Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox is now available to purchase priced from $200.
The small form factor Chromebox computer was first unveiled back in April of this year, and is now available in two versions with the $200 model equipped with an Intel Celeron 3205U Broadwell processor, support by 2GB of RAM, and sporting 16GB of internal storage.
For a little more cash you can equip your ThinkCentre Chromebox with a Core i3-5005U Broadwell processor supported by the same amount of RAM and equipped again with 16GB of internal storage. Other features of the range include connectivity via 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet together with 4 x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and DisplayPort connections.
Not only can the Chromebox Tiny be deployed in a variety of ways, it can also be transformed into a 23” Chrome OS AIO with the ThinkCentre Tiny-in-One (TIO). This is a modular AIO which offers a simple tool-less setup with minimal cabling for pain free deployment in almost seconds. The Chromebox Tiny can be swapped in and out easily, facilitating upgrading and servicing without difficulty. With a single Kensington lock, the Chromebox Tiny can also be secured inside TIO offering an enhanced security feature.
Although the new range of Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox systems are currently out of stock on the official Lenovo site, they are also available to buy from a range of other online hardware stores such as Newegg, Promevo, and Great Lakes Computer.
