Anyone who would like to teach their children the basics of electronics, may be interested in a new book and project box created by Tech DIY. Which provides everything you need for creating a variety of different projects using basic electronic components and a little sewing. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the book and project box which is now available to back via Kickstarter with earlybird pledges available from $39 or roughly £30 for the Joy Kit box of electronic components without the book.
If you would like both the learn electronic book and kits, pledges start from $52 and worldwide delivery is expected to take place during September 2019. “After nine years of workshops and research, we wrote a book published by Make Media. Tech DIY, Easy Electronics Projects for Parents and Kids, teaches about the fundamental concepts of electronic circuits and electricity through ten hands-on crafting projects.”
“While many of the supplies for these projects are available at craft stores, we know that it can be difficult to find some of the specialized electronic parts and high quality materials, like easy to use conductive thread and electronic components that you can sew.
So we created two kits that contain custom designed electronics for the projects in our book. We already have a manufacturing partner who we have worked with to supply our workshops. They can make all of the special parts needed for the kits, but we have to reach a minimum order to make it cost effective. That’s why we are coming to you, on Kickstarter!”
