Unfortunately for IS Drive developers Apple have now removed the BitTorrent application from the iTunes App Store.
As we reported earlier this week it did seem surprising that Apple allowed IS Drive to apear in their store and even the developer now admits its was probably because it didn’t mention the protocol in the description.
“[IS Drive] will not be designed to easily break the law and I hope no one intends to do so. But if a user is determined to break the law, what business is that of mine or Apple’s?” asked the developer, while talking to TorrentFreak.
IS Drive has been designed to allow you to managing ImageShack‘s torrent download service (ImageShack Drive is a paid subscription service) and now will probably be available if you have a Jailbroken phone from the Cydia online app store.
