The guys over at Tom’s Guide have been running some battery life tests on Apple’s iPhone XS and XS Max smartphones.
The tests were run by surfing the web continuously with the screen at 150 nits of brightness, they also turned off True Tone as well. Have a look at the chart below which shows how Apple’s new handsets performed.
As we can see from the chart the new iPhone XS and XS max was beaten by a number of Android devices, all tests were run under the same conditions.
The OnePlus 6, Galaxy Note 9, Google Pixel 2 XL and Huawei P20 Pro performed better than Apple’s new iPhones, all of these have larger batteries than Apple’s devices.
What is also interesting is that last years iPhone X performed better than the two new iPhones with a time of 10:49, you can see more details about the battery test at the link below.
