Apple’s new iPhone 8 will come with a completely new design over the existing handsets. The device will also feature all new hardware inside and out. We are expecting to see a new stainless steel chassis and a glass back on Apple’s new iPhone.
One of the major upgrades for the handset is the display, the device will come with a 5.7 inch edge to edge OLED display that will almost have to bezel. The exact resolution of the iPhone 8 is not know as yet. We are expecting the resolution to either be QHD or QHD+.
Apple will introduce their new A11 processor with this years iPhone. It will bring more performance and improved graphics to the iPhone. We are expecting to see performance gains of around 30%. The handset is also expected to come with 3GB of RAM and storage could range from 64GB up to 512GB.
The handset will also see some new features, one of the new features will be a facial recognition feature with Face Unlock. This will be used to unlock the handset and also for things like Apple Pay. The handset is not expected to come with a fingerprint sensor.
Apple will introduce a new dual camera setup with their iPhone 8. We are expected two 12 megapixel rear cameras in a vertical setup. The handset will come with Apple’s iOS 11 and this is expected to be released to existing devices the same week that the new iPhone 8 goes on sale.
As well as the new iPhone 8 we are also expecting to see two other new iPhones. These are rumored to be the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus. There will also be a new 4K Apple TV at the event and possibly a new LTE Apple Watch.
