Apple’s new iPad Mini has launched today, and the smaller iPad features a 7.9 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, the device also features a dual core Apple A5x processor.
It looks like Apple’s new iPad Mini comes with a smaller 5-watt adapter that is bundled with the iPhone 5, rather than the 12-watt adapter which comes with Apple’s full sized iPad.
The 12-watt adapter on the iPad is capable of charging the iPad faster than the standard 5-watt adapter for the iPhone, Apple’s iPad Mini features a battery with three times the capacity of the iPhone.
So it looks like the new iPad Mini may take considerably longer to charge than the iPhone 5, using the same adapter, although you could possivly use the 12-watt adapter to charge the iPad Mini faster.
