Apple has now released their iOS 11.4 Beta 3 vs iOS 11.3.1 third beta of iOS 11.4 and now we have some speed test videos of iOS 11.4 Beta 3 vs iOS 11.3.1.
In the videos we get to see iOS 11.4 beta 3 side by side with iOS 11.3.1. The tests are run on multiple iPhones and these include the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 and the iPhone 8. First up is the iPhone 5S.
As we can see in the video for the iPhone 5S the handset running the current iOS 11.3.1 software booted up faster. There does not appear to be any major speed differences between the two devices in the apps. Next we have the iPhone 6.
With the iPhone 6, the handset running the iOS 11.3.1 software also butted up quicker than the device running the new beta release. There does not appear to be any speed improvements in the apps. Next we have the iPhone 6S.
As we can see from the iPhone 6S video, the handset that is running the new iOS 11.4 beta 3 booted up slightly faster than the device with the current release. There does not appear to be any major differences between the two handsets in the various apps. Next up is Apple’s iPhone 7.
With the iPhone 7, the handset running the iOS 11.3.1 software booted up faster than the handset running the new beta. There are no major speed improvements between the two handsets in the apps. Finally we have the iPhone 8.
As we can see in the final video, the iPhone 8 running the current iOS 11.3.1 software booted by slightly faster, there do not appear to be any speed improvements in the apps.
It would appear from the videos that the new iOS 11.4 software will not bring any major speed improvements to Apple’s iPhones. We are only on the third beta of the OS, so this could possibly change by the time the final version of the software is released.
