Apple has now released their fifth beta of iOS 11.2 and now we have some new videos of iOS 11.2 Beta 5 vs iOS 11.1.2. In the videos we get to see the current version of Apple’s OS and the new beta side by side to see if there see any speed improvements in the new OS.
The videos below shows iOS 11.2 Beta 5 vs iOS 11.1.2 running on the iPhone 5S, the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 7. First up is Apple’s iPhone 5S.
As we can see from the video the new iOS 11.2 Beta 5 boots up faster than the current version of iOS, it also appears to be faster in the various apps. It seems to boot up quite a bit quicker, next up is the iPhone 6.
The iPhone 6 running the iOS 11.2 beta 5 also boots up faster than the iPhone 6 running iOS 11.1.2. Next up is the iPhone 6S.
The iPhone 6S appears to boot up faster on the older iOS 11.1.2 rather than the new iOS 11.2 beta 5, next up is the iPhone 7.
The iPhone 7 boots up faster with the newer iOS 11.2 beta 5, it also appears to be faster in the apps. We are expecting Apple to release their new iOS 11.2 software update some time early next week.
