Three former Australian Googlers who left Google’s employ after being frustrated with Google+ predecessor Wave got axed, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
Have now put their skills together and created a Sparrow styled web-based wrapper that can be used to help improve your email productivity and make it look a little more like the much loved Sparrow for Mac, and soon to be iPhone apps. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
One of the main features of the redesign has been to provide users with a much faster way of searching email, and includes features such as Search-as-you-type, 1-click filtering and visual attachment browsing to help you find exactly what you need, quickly. Fluent also allows you to manage multiple accounts if you need, for more information jump over to the Fluent website for details. Fluents developers explain:
“Fluent’s inbox is a workflow-oriented stream. See email threads & replies at a glance, preview attachments, and make the decision to reply, archive or add to your to-do list with one click.”
Fluent is currently being developed in a closed beta environment at the moment but you can signup to the list for an invite on their website. As more information becomes available we will keep you updated.
