Fitfit Health based in Singapore has created a new electric desktop standing desk aptly named the Fitfit complete with removable keyboard tray, USB charging and a patent pending design. The electric standing desk is now available to back with early booklet is available from £124 and worldwide shipping is expected to commence sometime around September 2019.
“We spend a whopping 138,688 hours of our lives at work, or roughly 16 years of our lives. Work is a huge part of our lives. Most of our work hours are spent sitting. Further, we sit when we’re in commute, watching TV, eating meals, playing games or reading books. Sitting for too long increases our risk of chronic health problems such as heart disease, not to mention back and neck pain. A review of over 47 studies found that exercising for 30 minutes EVERY DAY is not enough to offset the harms of prolonged sitting. Meeting recommended physical exercise guidelines cannot give us free pass to be sedentary for the rest of the day.”
