Facebook has added a new feature to its Facebook Messenger app for the iPhone, the ability to make voice calls over Wi-Fi and cellular data, and the feature is being rolled out to users of the App in the US.
The Facebook Messenger app for the iPhone was updated yesterday to version 2.1.1 and it also comes with a number of bug fixes, you can see details of what is new below.

The free calling in Facebook Messenger is apparently being rolled out to the app over the next few weeks, it seems to be available in the US only at the moment, there are no details on when it will be available in other countries.
