Here’s a cool concept MP3 player from designers Stefano Pertegato, Massimiliano Rampoldi, Eloisa Tolu, Francesco Schiraldi & Giovanni Mendini, the Cassette Tape MP3 player.
This funky MP3 player is controlled by rotating one of the spools with a pencil or your finger to rewind or fast forward tracks.
It can also be re-charged by rotating one of the spools with your finger or a pencil, and it comes with a built in USB connector so you can upload your favourite tunes.
The idea is that the Cassette Tape MP3 player will come in different sizes, just like an old school cassette with 45, 60 and 90 minute versions being able to hold different amounts of songs.
Although this is just a design at the moment, lets hope we see this go into production soon, I would buy one, I absolutely love the design and I think the way the songs are controlled and the way it is re-charged is very inventive.
