We’ve seen a handful of leaks and images of the weird Blackberry Passport in the past few weeks, with a little of information coming from the Canadian company itself.
It seems the odd-looking Blackberry Passport may see the light of the day on September 24th. The Canadian company has started sending out invites for their event on September 24th in Toronto, London and Dubai.
It appears the event will take place simultaneously in all three locations, but the company has not given any starting time. Recently, we saw leak which revealed the complete set of specifications for the Blackberry Passport.
The device is expected to come with a 4.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1440 x 1440 pixels. Under the hood, the handset is expected to feature a quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.2Ghz with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for expansion.
On the rear, there’s a 13MP camera with optical image stabilization, 2MP front-facing camera, and Blackberry OS. On the connectivity side, Blackberry Passport will come with LTE, HSPA+, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC.
