Last week Apple released a security patch for their macOS. This patch fixed thee Root security bug in macOS. Apple has now released macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 Beta 6. This new beta of Apple’s macOS also comes with the same fix for the root bug in macOS.
The root bug in macOS, allowed anyone to gain access to your mac by using the username ‘Root’ with no password. The macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 software should finally fix this bug for everyone when the software is released.
As this is the six beta of macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 we are expecting the software to be released to everyone very soon. Apple released their iOS 11.2 software on the weekend. We are expecting the new version of macOS to land some time this week.
