Apple has released the final beta version of their new macOS to developers, macOS Catalina GM (Gold Master), the release comes just three days after the last beta.
Apple is expected to release its new macOS software this month and the last rumored release date we heard was for today, the 4th of October, whether it will land later today remains to be seen. We are definitely close to release with the Gold Master being made available to developers.
There are a number of changes coming in this new major release of Apple’s macOS, this includes the removal of Apple’s iTunes app. This is being replaced by three different apps, Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Podcasts.
Apple is also bringing their Screen Time feature to the Mac, this is available on the iPhone and iPad and it tells you have long you have spent online and what sites, apps etc you have been using.
