Apple has released a new software update for iOS, the update is iOS 11.1.2, not the iOS 11.2 software update that is expected later this month. the update is a small one and it comes with some bug fixes and minor performance improvements.
Included in the update is the fix for an unresponsive display on the new iPhone X during really cold temperatures. There is also a fix for an issue with Live Photos and videos on the iPhone X, you can see what is included in the update below
iOS 11.1.2 includes bug fixes for your iPhone and iPad. This update:
- Fixes an issue where the iPhone X screen becomes temporarily unresponsive to touch after a rapid temperature drop
- Addresses an issue that could cause distortion in Live Photos and videos captured with iPhone X
The iOS 11.1.2 update is now available for the iPhone and iPad. You can download the update by going to Settings > General > Software Update on your device. You can also install the update by connecting your device to iTunes.
We are also expecting another software update from Apple later this month, the iOS 11.2 update, Apple recently released the third beta of this software, as soon as we get some more details on when it is coming we will let you guys know.
