Apple has launched its latest smartphones, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. The handsets are now available to buy in a number of countries, including the UK.
Prices for the iPhone 8 start at £699 for the 64GB model and £849 for the 256GB model. The iPhone 8 Plus costs £799 for the 64GB model and £949 for the 256GB model.
Unlike previously iPhone launches, Apple appears to have plenty of stock of the new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, with its online stores showing delivery in just a few weeks. The company is also selling the handset from its retail stores today.
Apple is launching their new iPhone X in November and many Apple fans are reported to be waiting for this handset. This could explain why there are not the same supply shortages of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus as there were with previous models.
The iPhone X will go up for pre-order on the 27th of October, the handset will launch worldwide on the 3rd of November.
