It seems Apple has started its iPad trade-in program in European shores as well, which give users the ability to recycle their old iPad models for a credit, and utilize it to purchase a new iPad.
Previously, the program kicked off in Canada and United States last month, but it’s good to see Apple is offering the services in other regions as well.
Several reports suggests that Apple has began the in-store iPad trade-in program in France, Germany, Spain and the UK. It’s definitely a good news, since users planning to get rid of their old models can at least get some cash which can be used against their new purchase.
The eligible models include iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4 and iPad mini — users with an iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina are not eligible. All you have to do is take your table to the nearest Apple store, and you’ll be able to trade it in for a new device. There’s no word on how much a customer may get for their device, but it should be something similar to the amounts offered in the US.
We’ll update you as soon as we get more information about the trade-in values. If you recycled your iPad, let us know about your experience.
