Apple will be releasing their iOS 12 software sometime in September, the Apple HomePod will also get some new software at the same time with HomePod OS 12.
Apple has been testing out its new HomePod OS 12 beta software with some of its retail employees and the software will bring some new features to the Apple HomePod.
Apple are bringing some major changes to Siri on the iPhone in iOS 12 and there will also be some changes to Siri on the HomePod. This will include the ability to set multiple timers with Siri on the device plus some other new features.
Some of the other new features will also including improvements to the way that the device can be used to make calls, this feature is available at the moment but its features are pretty limited. The update will bring the ability to make and receive calls on the device without having to touch your iPhone.
