A new HDR video recorder camera with triple-sensors has been created that can capture AMP II HDR recordings. Offering up to 17 stops of dynamic range while simultaneous capturing video on 3 separate senors, each set with different exposure values.
Gen II AMP camera stores raw data to SSD hard drives and, and its creators are already thought to be working on increasing the memory buffer for longer recording times. Watch the videos after the jump for a demonstration on how the new AMP II camera captures HDR footage.
Because AMP only records RAW footage there are nor compression issues or losses while the footage is being captured. Now with real-time HDR video capture possible in a small format camera enclosure AMP can now be used for live broadcasts by film crews ensuring immediate results are available.
