Last week Amazon took the wraps off their first smartphone, the Amazon Fire Phone, the handset comes with some unique and interesting features, and now it would appear that the device has managed to grab the attention of some of the top handset makers.
According to a recent report by the Korean media, both Samsung and LG are keeping an eye on the new Amazon Fire Phone, as both companies are interested to see how the handset preforms.
LG and Samsung are taking into account that the Fire Phone could end up being a game changer, because of the handsets unique features, and also because it comes with content and cloud storage as well as the new features.
The new Amazon Fire Phone comes with some interesting features which include a Dynamic Perspective Display, plus Amazon’s Firefly, which is a new visual search.
The specifications on the handset are decent as well, and these include a 4.7 inch high definition display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, plus a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and 2GB of RAM.
The device also features an Adreno 330 GPU and 32GB of built in storage, plus NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi and 4G LTE, the handset will be available exclusively through mobile carrier AT&T in the US.
It will be interesting to see how popular the device comes, if it end up being very popular, then both Samsung and LG could look at adding similar features to their devices in the future.
