Acer has today released information and specifications for two new pico projectors it will soon be launching into the UK market, the Acer C110 (bottom) and C112 (top). The Acer C110 pico-projector needs just a single USB cable to be used, removing the need to carry any power supply or adapter, it also weighs just 175 g and measures 110 x 85 x 25mm in size.
The C110 is capable of projecting a display size from 30cm to 254cm with a WVGA 854×480 resolution and native 16:9 format together with a 1000:1 contrast ratio combining DLP technology with LED lamp technology.
The Acer C112 is also compact and lightweight but requires no cables to attach it to a computer, and comes with an optional external battery that will provide it with up to 2 hours of use.
To play presentations on the C122 simply plug in your USB flash drive and away you go. The C112 is capable of projecting a display from 38cm to 254cm and again has a WVGA 854 X 480 resolution and native 16:9 format.
Its also equipped with a quick start features that allows you to start playing your presentation in around 15 seconds after you turn it on, together with an instant off feature to get a quick get away.
The Acer C112 is expected to arrive at the end of July with for £229 and the C110 at the end of August for £199
