A new desktop four-in-one manufacturing system has been unveiled this week called the Formaker, that includes a dual head 3D printer, CNC mill, laser cutter and printed circuit board maker.
Priced at $999 the Formaker has been created by Zhuhai who has taken to Kickstarter to raise the required $50,000 the company requires to take their concept into production.
The Formaker offers a build volume of 225 x 145 x 150mm and includes a 3.0 watt laser and is capable of carrying a 1kg spool of PLA 3D printing filament. Its developers explain more.
The Formaker is made of metal and provides excellent stability for high precision. The structure is very robust, and provides high mechanical repeat-ability.
The Formaker is very easy to use and all the controls are built into the Touchscreen Display. Simply a few touches to tell the machine which operation its going to use, and you’re done. The Formaker could be the manufacturing center that your business or hobby needs!
